May 17, 2006

"Metal Injection", the Internet streaming video show, was recently granted exclusive access to LAMB OF GOD's recording studios where the band are currently working on their new album, "Sacrament", for a tentative August 22 release via Epic Records.

In the episode, which is currently airing at this location, Randy Blythe gives a tour of LAMB OF GOD's recording facilities — the Sound of Music Studios in Richmond, VA. He shows the viewer the entire setup for the upcoming record, and gives his first interview since the recording process began, in which he discusses their new record, the songwriting process, possible guests on the record, their upcoming Unholy Alliance tour with SLAYER, and future touring plans. "Metal Injection" also managed to sneak in a new riff into this episode. Also featured on this episode of "Metal Injection", the crew stops by Melissa Cross's studio where she is giving vocal lessons to Angela Gossow of ARCH ENEMY, as well as videos from LAMB OF GOD, ARCH ENEMY, MASTODON, CONVERGE, ORIGIN, and much more.
